Overview

In this senior DA role at Talbot, you will support the DA Manager to enhance delegated authority processes and controls. You will help onboarding Coverholders, review submissions for alignment with strategy, and monitor performance and risk within the Lloyd’s framework. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain governance, conduct audits, and improve reporting. This role offers exposure to governance, risk oversight and cross-functional training within a leading insurance specialist context.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve current DA processes and bordereaux management workflows
  • On-board Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators; review new business submissions for alignment with appetite
  • Collaborate with Senior Claims DA Analyst to ensure compliance with DA framework and Lloyd’s principles
  • Ongoing monitoring of Coverholder and DCA performance; conduct periodic due diligence
  • Review Binding Authority Agreements and DCA contracts; assist in the Delegated Authority Audit Programme including scoping and scheduling
  • Analyze audit reports, agree recommendations with stakeholders and track actions to completion
  • Liaise with Underwriters, Claims Adjusters, Brokers, External Auditors, Lloyd’s; support Product Governance
  • Prepare committee packs and participate in internal Committee Meetings; present when required
  • Escalate Delegated Authority breaches and provide technical advice on DA matters
  • Mentor and train DA team members; deliver Lineslip training across business units

Key requirements
