Overview

In this role you will manage security-governed systems and processes for sensitive drawings and information on MoD sites. You will maintain controlled drawing registers, administer secure platforms, and enforce access controls. You will also handle UKSV vetting activities and keep auditable records. You’ll work within the Building Services OU to support secure, high‑quality facilities management in critical environments. This is a chance to contribute to secure, compliant operations at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the drawing room function and treat contractor drawings as controlled security items
  • Maintain a controlled drawing register with version control and custody records
  • Administer secure platforms and systems for document storage and record‑keeping
  • Apply and maintain strict access controls on a need‑to‑know basis
  • Undertake UKSV Sponsor User activities (BPSS, SC, DV where applicable)
  • Maintain accurate, auditable vetting records, trackers and renewal schedules

Key requirements

  • Experience in security administration, information control, document control or vetting support in a secure or regulated environment
  • Practical experience supporting UKSV vetting processes and handling sensitive personal data
  • Strong understanding of secure information handling, access control and record‑keeping
  • Exceptional attention to detail, discretion and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clear communication and discretion handling sensitive issues
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Planner, Loop, To Do, PowerPoint, etc) and other relevant software
  • Ability to hold and maintain UK Security Clearance – minimum 10 years UK residency required
