Associate Director – Transport Development Planning

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership to grow the transport planning practice and align objectives with broader goals
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing strategic, sustainable solutions
• Oversee delivery of transport planning inputs ensuring compliance, risk management, and quality
• Identify new business opportunities and lead bids/proposals in transport planning
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse team across disciplines

Key requirements

• Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in transport planning with proven win-rate and team leadership
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Established client network and industry relationships in UK&I
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and knowledge of UK&I transport planning regulations
