Responsibilities
- Handle will validity challenges and executor/trustee disputes
- Work on proprietary estoppel and 1975 Act claims
- Manage trust disputes involving family dynamics and offshore structures
- Engage in contentious issues arising during estate administration
- Collaborate with non-contentious private client teams across lifecycle of estates
Key requirements
- Newly qualified solicitor, or qualifying shortly
- Strong interest in contentious trusts and probate work
- Ideally a seat in contentious probate
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, emotionally charged matters with professionalism
