Overview

As a Senior Sustainability Consultant in Perth, you will lead sustainability outcomes for city-scale infrastructure projects and support a high-performance local and national team. You’ll guide clients on best-practice approaches, from decarbonisation and resilience to rating schemes, while shaping project strategies and providing senior leadership. You’ll work across design integration, technical analysis, and stakeholder engagement to deliver value for clients and communities. Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on sustainability outcomes using rating tools (ISC IS Ratings and Green Star)
  • Apply sustainability principles to decarbonisation of infrastructure assets
  • Conduct technical assessments (climate, energy, water, carbon) and resilience analyses
  • Lead cross-discipline coordination for sustainable design integration
  • Manage deliverables for medium-to-large projects and guide project planning and budgeting
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development
  • Contribute to Perth Team’s high-performance outcomes and knowledge base
  • Prepare and review designs and reports; lead client meetings and workshops

Key requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent sustainability-related discipline
  • 6+ years of experience as a Sustainability Consultant or similar, preferably in infrastructure
  • Experience with ISC IS ratings and Green Star certification
  • Proven project leadership on small to medium sustainability projects
  • Experience in energy, water, waste modelling; climate resilience and life-cycle analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex concepts for stakeholders
