Supply Chain Consulting Manager – Sourcing and Procurement

Overview

In this role you help clients optimise sourcing, procurement and overall supply chain performance. You will lead delivery across procurement transformation, logistics operations and network design, shaping end-to-end supply chain improvements. You’ll partner with clients to drive cost efficiency, service levels and operating-model changes while mentoring teams and developing methodologies. This is a client-facing, impact-focused position that combines hands-on delivery with thought leadership and business development. You’ll work from a UK home base with travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver supply chain consulting engagements focused on sourcing & procurement challenges
• Act as primary client contact and manage project status communications
• Coordinate activities of project team and resources
• Mentor consultants/analysts in methodologies and techniques
• Create presentation materials from analysis results for deliverables
• Maintain positive client relationships through clear communication
• Support sales of Supply Chain Operations services
• Contribute to thought leadership materials and development of new offerings

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in operations, logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, science, technology, math, business, or related major
• Several years of experience in supply chain, logistics operations, procurement and transformation
• Experience in using quantitative tools to analyze business data (e.g., SQL, KNIME, R, Python)
• Willingness to travel based on project location and client demand
