Overview
As Chief Compliance Officer in London, you lead the Compliance and AML framework as the 2nd line of defence, aligning with UK regulation and Group policies. You will identify and assess compliance risks for branch management, establish and adapt policies, and oversee the Monitoring programme. You’ll centralise compliance information, perform risk analyses, and report results to local management and HQ. You’ll drive due diligence, AML monitoring, and staff training while maintaining strong regulatory communications. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Compliance and AML program as the 2nd line of defence aligned with UK regulation and Group policies.
- Identify and assess compliance risks for branch management and staff.
- Establish and adapt compliance procedures and policies in line with Group policies.
- Implement the Group Compliance Monitoring programme based on Regulatory Risk Assessment and the Corporate Defense Model.
- Ensure inclusion of all UK regulatory obligations in the monitoring programme and carry out 2nd line controls with action plans when needed.
- Report monitoring results to local Management and to the Compliance department at headquarters.
- Centralise information on compliance issues and analyze interventions and follow-ups.
- Perform client due diligence and AML transaction monitoring; conduct ML risk assessment.
- Provide advice to senior management on compliance matters and deliver awareness/training to employees.
- Maintain communication with financial authorities.
Key requirements
