Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment and service compressed air systems from Crawley. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, install and commission systems, and handle emergency fault finding while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role supports a growing service team with national reach, offering hands-on problem solving and opportunities to influence site performance. Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on compressors and related equipment
- Conduct fault finding and repair during emergencies
- Install and commission compressors and compressed air systems
- Recommend additional works to assist customers or improve company performance
- Maintain professional relationships with customers
- Keep company vehicle, PPE, testing and equipment in good order
Key requirements
- Experience in the compressed air industry is valued but not essential
- Desirable: experience with high pressure systems or F Gas qualifications
- Forklift, IPAF and trailer licenses are handy but not essential
- Good interpersonal and IT skills
- Desire to provide high quality workmanship and a can-do attitude
- Current UK driving license
- Willingness to travel regionally with occasional overnight stays

- Sound electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
