Leasing Pricing Specialist

Overview

In this role you will act as the pricing engine for Carwow’s Leasey offering, ensuring competitive deals and accurate ratebooks across the marketplace. You will collaborate with Procurement and the Marketplace commercial team to source optimal supply and guide pricing decisions. You’ll build models and tooling, including AI-enabled solutions, to speed up pricing workflows and improve deal quality. This role sits at the core of driving market competitiveness and revenue growth, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

• Analyse funder ratebooks and marketplace to identify whitespace and guide supply focus and pricing.
• Own and manage all ratebooks, including custom builds and process efficiency improvements.
• Manage ratebook uploads to Carwow marketplace and third-party aggregators; ensure daily pricing accuracy.
• Act as in-office pricing expert and advisor to Procurement for supply opportunities and deals.
• Build models and tooling (AI-enabled where helpful) to accelerate pricing and decision-making.
• Monitor supply and deal competitiveness across the marketplace by brand, model, category and partner.
• Collaborate with Marketplace commercial team to source the best supply from broker partners, guided by whitespace analysis.
• Track competitor pricing and deal scores; translate insights into actionable recommendations for Procurement and Marketplace.

Key requirements

• Strong analytical skills.
• Expert in Excel or Sheets; comfortable with BI tools (Looker, Power BI) and ideally SQL.
• Experience building models and tooling; proficient with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor.
• Solid understanding of vehicle leasing economics (residual value, cost of funds, OTR price, VAT, commission); ratebooks know-how.
• High attention to detail; able to own daily operational processes with visible errors.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations for Procurement.
• Understanding of how marketplaces work (demand-supply dynamics) (desirable)
• Experience in vehicle leasing, motor finance, or a data-rich pricing environment (desirable)
• Based at or able to work from Winnersh office and collaborate in person with Procurement
