Overview
In this role, you will lead electrical and ICA design for water and wastewater projects within a multi-disciplinary team. You will work across multi-year water frameworks to deliver impactful, sustainable infrastructure, collaborating with clients and Tier 1 partners. You’ll drive design quality, feasibility studies, and delivery from concept to commissioning, shaping resilient water systems. Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical and ICA deliverables (calculations, drawings, technical reports) for water/wastewater projects
- Perform feasibility studies and progress through outline, detailed design and construction/commissioning support
- Ensure high technical quality, contribute to bids, and maintain client relationships
- Deliver project budgets, programs, and quality objectives; support budget/program preparation
- Mentor junior staff; delegate tasks and oversee work
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, including Tier 1 contractors and water utilities
Key requirements
- BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering
- Progress towards Chartered Engineer status
- Experience in design of water/wastewater deliverables (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of technical issues
- Ability to produce design deliverables and coordinate checks by others
