Hardware Engineering Leader

Overview

Lead and coordinate hardware reliability and design activities from concept to production. Drive end-to-end product development across electronic parts, components, and mechanical systems, ensuring high quality and compliance. Align cross-functional teams to meet quality, time, cost, and release SLAs while fostering innovation and scalable solutions. You will mentor the team, manage resources, and shape the engineering processes that enable rapid, reliable hardware delivery. Manchester-based, with a focus on delivering robust, compliant systems that meet market and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management across quality, schedule, and cost to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Drive and manage SLA programs for systems development, product solution, architecture, DFM, testing, safety/EMC compliance, release management, documentation workflows, talent, travel, and fixed assets.
• Lead systems architecture development and product solution design activities.
• Direct reliability and design standards for materials and production processes.
• Manage research or technical design functions for electronic parts and integrated circuitry.
• Supervise mechanical system and equipment design functions.
• Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
