As a Senior Structural Engineer in Ramboll’s London Industry and Infrastructure Facilities team, you lead structural design across diverse landmarks and international projects, with a focus on low-carbon solutions. You collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to shape concepts, drive design delivery, and mentor engineers. Responsibilities

• Develop and agree structural concepts and design philosophies
• Inspire and enthuse engineers and technicians on projects
• Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings
• Take ownership as day-to-day lead on a project or part of a project
• Push the boundaries of low-carbon design

Key requirements

• Chartered with the IStructE, ICE, or international equivalent
• Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex engineering principles clearly
• Demonstrable experience in at least one of: Rail, Aviation, Data Centres or other critical facilities; cross-sector experience desirable
• Track record on projects with high levels of design, sustainability, or reuse of existing assets
• Experience in designing primary construction materials (steel, concrete, timber); good general knowledge of building construction; MMC experience beneficial
• Passion for sustainable solutions
