In this role you will manage a varied family law caseload within a long-established Bristol firm, contributing to a collaborative team and upholding high client service standards. You will handle financial remedy, private children, and domestic abuse matters, with a mix of private and legal aid work. The role offers hybrid work after probation and dedicated support staff to enable confident, independent practice. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload across financial remedy, private children, and domestic abuse matters
- Handle privately funded and legal aid work, with training available for legal aid if needed
- Provide support to the Head of Department and work with minimal supervision
- Collaborate within a team to maintain high standards of client service
Key requirements
- 2-6 years PQE in family/matrimonial law
- Strong experience across core family law areas
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Proactive, supportive, and professional approach
- Experience with legal aid is desirable but not essential
