Finance Manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you will oversee financial reporting for a Not-for-Profit organisation, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end processes. You will lead a small team, manage statutory reporting, and act as the technical Finance Business Partner to internal stakeholders. You’ll drive better controls and processes within finance and handle ad hoc projects as they arise. This interim position offers meaningful impact in a mission-driven setting with a flexible in-office balance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and organisational stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end reporting activities
• Oversee statutory reporting requirements
• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Act as technical Finance Business Partner to internal stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and stronger controls across finance
• Manage ad hoc finance projects as they arise

Key requirements

• Qualified accounting professional (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
• Proven staff management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
