Senior / Principal ICT consultant – Building Technology Systems (Building Services)

Overview

In this role you will design and implement IT and communications networks within buildings as part of the BTS discipline, collaborating with the Building Services team. You’ll translate client requirements into future-ready network solutions and lead or support project design work. You’ll work across feed and stakeholder groups to ensure feasible, detailed BTS designs that support modern building infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Design IT networks within buildings in collaboration with multiple design disciplines
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to capture requirements
• Apply latest network designs and technologies to real-world applications
• Create detailed BTS designs and equipment schedules
• Perform feasibility studies and contribute to overall project feasibility
• Work independently or as discipline lead on smaller projects
• Provide technical advice within BTS and liaise with MEP teams

Key requirements

• CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council accredited honours degree or equivalent experience leading to Chartership
• RevitMEP training applied to the discipline
• Any accredited network qualification
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and obtain SC-level security clearance
