Business Tax Associate Director

Overview

In this Corporate Tax Adviser role, you will support mid‑market and privately owned clients with complex tax matters and proactive advisory. You’ll build and manage client relationships, helping clients navigate legislation and optimize outcomes through strategic tax planning. The role sits within a collaborative Forvis Mazars team that values growth, inclusion, and impact. You will work on varied engagements from family-owned businesses to PE-backed groups, shaping practical tax solutions that align with client goals.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with mid‑market clients
• Advise on complex tax legislation (CIR, Patent Box, R&D) and related restructurings
• Support transaction-related advisory and reorganisations
• Identify and deliver advisory work for clients; develop new relationships and win engagements
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and risk management

Key requirements

• ACA and/or CTA (or qualified by experience)
• Experience with a portfolio of medium-sized groups providing corporate tax advisory
• Strong technical tax knowledge for medium-sized businesses
• Experience in managing client relationships and delivering advisory work
• Experience in winning advisory work and building new relationships
