Operational Change Lead

Overview

As Operational Change Lead, you bridge operational teams and group change functions to translate IT and software changes into practical implementations. You’ll ensure change initiatives are adopted, embedded, and deliver real benefits across the group’s operations. You will support planning, readiness, and continuous improvement, spanning Software Delivery, Change, Product Management and Operations. You’ll work with cross-functional leadership to drive adoption and coordination of improvements, with a focus on tangible business impact.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and embedding operational improvements across units
• Help leadership deliver change alongside day-to-day responsibilities
• Drive stakeholder engagement and decision-making; coordinate business readiness and UAT activities
• Support implementation planning and ensure changes become embedded in operations
• Operational Readiness, Change mobilization and engagement
• Facilitate UAT involving operational resources

Key requirements

• Similar role experience in an SME
• Experience delivering change, transformation or business improvement in an operational environment
• Experience working with operational management teams and frontline services
• Demonstrable project delivery or structured change management experience
• Experience coordinating business readiness, implementation or operational change activities
• Experience facilitating workshops, meetings and decision-making sessions
• Experience supporting digital transformation and technology-enabled change
• Experience using formal project delivery or change management methodologies
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean or Six Sigma – Green Belt beneficial)
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
