Overview
In this role you will lead multiple heavy civil projects across the North East, ensuring regional delivery on time and safely. You will report progress to Directors and drive project performance to support successful programme outcomes. You will back Project Managers and Site Agents on site to maintain momentum and quality. This is a growth-minded opportunity with a long-standing contractor known for major projects and collaborative delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead several civil engineering projects across the North East of England
- Manage regional operations to meet timescales safely and accurately
- Provide monthly progress reporting to Directors
- Drive on-time programme delivery across all projects
- Support Project Managers and Site Agents on site
Key requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager
- Experience with civil engineering, NEC contracts and Microsoft Project
- Heavy civil engineering experience desirable (earthworks, wind farms, substations, BESS)
- Flexibility to travel between projects
