Staff Security Architect

Overview

As a Senior Security Architect at Kraken Security Labs, you design and validate robust security architectures for a heterogeneous tech stack, guiding cross-functional teams worldwide. You’ll perform security assessments, audits, and practical mitigations to strengthen current and future products. Stay ahead of blockchain security trends and apply them to secure operations in Web3, crypto, and AI projects. You’ll join a small, hands-on team that embeds deeply with engineering squads to deliver secure, trusted crypto products.

Responsibilities

• Design, review & verify robust security architecture in a heterogeneous environment
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of existing architectures, recommending practical improvements
• Stay updated with latest blockchain security trends, threats and mitigation techniques
• Provide security expertise to blockchain teams, ensuring secure operational practices

Key requirements

• Proven experience as an IT security expert, with a strong background in application security
• Experience in security testing diverse applications
• Experience with infrastructure security
• Basic familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, etc)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
