SAP Sales, Service & VMS Solution Architect

Overview

In this role you will shape and govern end-to-end SAP solutions for McLaren’s Commercial operations, covering vehicle lifecycle from order to service. You will design scalable, standard-driven architectures aligned with SAP best practices, enabling S/4HANA migration and clean-core principles. You will collaborate with stakeholders and SI partners to deliver value across modules like SD, CS, and VMS, while driving integration with external systems. Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end SAP solutions for scoped domains and produce architecture artifacts
• Guide migration and modernization towards S/4HANA with embedded analytics and automation opportunities
• Establish governance, standards, and quality assurance for SAP solutions
• Oversee delivery excellence and ensure solution fit-for-purpose
• Engage stakeholders and provide advisory support to business and IT partners

Key requirements

• Extensive experience as SAP Solution Lead/Architect in automotive environments
• Deep knowledge of SAP SD, CS, VMS and integration with MM, PP, FI, VC and external PLM/CRM/MES/3PL
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience delivering SAP capabilities using SAP Activate, agile/hybrid/agile or waterfall methodologies
• Familiarity with embedded analytics, SAP Integration Suite, cloud integration patterns, SAP BTP, Fiori
• Exposure to SAP TM/Transformation capabilities and tools such as Cloud ALM, Signavio, WalkMe, testing automation
