Overview

In this role you will maintain and improve production-line equipment in PepsiCo’s Coventry site, helping ensure reliable, safe operation of our snack manufacturing lines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance plans and drive continuous improvement. The role offers exposure to advanced maintenance practices and real impact on production efficiency and quality. This is a hands-on position within a safety-focused, performance-driven environment with strong growth and relocation support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance activities in your area while maximizing wrench time and following safety protocols
  • Support continuous improvement using the PDCA cycle
  • Provide feedback to planners and leadership to optimise schedules, frequency, and parts planning
  • Conduct pre- and post-maintenance quality checks
  • Manage lubrication mapping and support simplification of lubricants
  • Train autonomous maintenance team on equipment knowledge, basic Clean-Inspect-Lubricate routine and fault diagnostics
  • Lead root cause analysis sessions and provide technical expertise
  • Promote and maintain strong 5S standards across the plant

Key requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with hands-on experience
  • Recognized electrical academic qualification
  • Strong electrical knowledge
  • Familiarity with CMMS and SCADA systems
  • Solid understanding of equipment and technical standards
  • A sense of ownership for safety, quality, and performance
