Senior Manager, Private Capital Transactions, London

Overview

In this role you drive value in private capital transactions by delivering expert UK tax advisory across buy- and sell-side projects. You will lead client relationships, oversee tax project delivery, and mentor junior staff within EY’s FTTA Private Capital Transactions team. The role blends tax technical excellence with commercial insight to support high-profile deals and strategic structuring. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships and deliver world-class service
• Assist in winning work by managing existing clients and supporting new business
• Oversee the delivery of tax projects with technical excellence and deal-focused thinking
• Maximise value for EY and clients while managing risk for both
• Remain client-focused and strategically/commercially aware
• Communicate effectively in written and oral forms across situations
• Develop internal networks and external relationships to leverage opportunities
• Mentor and develop junior staff through supervision and coaching
• Contribute to team strategy and operations, including junior staff development and assignments

Key requirements

• Experienced UK tax practitioner with expertise in Restructuring Tax
• ACA/ATT/CTA or international equivalent / Law qualification
• Degree qualified
