Architect & Engineering Manager – UK

Overview

As Architecture & Engineering Manager, you’ll connect Axis with the consultant community to ensure our solutions are understood and championed. You will lead thought leadership, educate specifiers, and build a robust project pipeline across the Midlands and South West. You’ll align A&E activities with regional sales priorities and collaborate across global peers to share best practices. This role puts you at the center of shaping how Axis is specified in security and video surveillance projects. You’ll work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment that values creativity, partnership, and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with A&E programme members and new consultants
• Advise on specifications for Axis network products and support focus accounts
• Educate the consultant community on industry challenges and Axis as a thought leader
• Train specifiers on Axis design tools to improve design accuracy and efficiency
• Define strategy aligned with regional priorities (EMEA, NEE, UK & Ireland)
• Coordinate A&E activities with sales to build project pipelines
• Collaborate with A&E peers worldwide to share best practices

Key requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proven ability to develop and execute business plans
• Engaging presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience building professional networks and stakeholder relationships
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Bonus: familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
• Bonus: experience in security, surveillance, or building technology sectors
