Reliability and Maintenance Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the Reliability and Maintenance function for Guardian Glass Goole, shaping a proactive, reliability-focused maintenance culture. You will build and develop a high-performing team and collaborate with Operations to improve equipment availability and performance. Driving strategic maintenance, CMMS/EAM processes, and root-cause analysis, you will elevate safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the reliability team (supervisors, electrical and mechanical engineers)
• Drive a transition from reactive to proactive maintenance
• Coach and develop team through regular feedback and performance management
• Foster collaboration with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance to improve reliability
• Oversee maintenance strategy, CMMS/EAM work management, and preventive/predictive/condition-based asset care
• Use data and root-cause analysis to improve equipment availability and performance
• Maintain strong safety culture and ensure compliant, high-standard maintenance activities
• Act as escalation point for complex equipment issues and coordinate recovery plans

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading or coordinating teams in an industrial/manufacturing or operational environment
• Strong commitment to safety and high-quality planning/execution
• Ability to motivate, coach and manage performance
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Effective communicator with ability to influence across levels
• Proactive, autonomous mindset focused on sustainable improvement
