Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operational matters for the discipline and support leadership of projects
  • Embed a project-centric culture with technically robust delivery while balancing client, staff and commercial expectations
  • Promote SHEQ performance and policy compliance across project delivery and reviews
  • Oversee workload, resource utilisation and interface with team leaders to ensure capacity within technical capability
  • Support project management to ensure compliance with SHEQ systems and integration of UK-wide best practices (BMS, SHEQ)
  • Coordinate reporting on project, commercial, risk and employee performance; support budgeting and forecasts
  • Lead commercial governance across major projects, including budgets, forecasts, backlogs, and margin improvement
  • Provide leadership on employee development, performance management, coaching and training coordination
  • Promote cohesion with GCC and ensure effective use of regional capabilities
  • Drive project reviews, financial controls, invoicing, cash collection and audit readiness
  • Support horizon platform activity to troubleshoot and educate for business outcomes
  • Ensure contract management, change control and variations are handled to protect profitability
  • Foster stakeholder relationships and cross-functional collaboration across internal and external partners
  • Champion Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) in resource planning, mobilisation and reviews

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams across functions
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Evidence of process improvements and change initiatives
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and structured reasoning in complex environments
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
