Overview
In this role you will drive global mobility initiatives within our London-based HR team, ensuring compliant immigration, tax, and employment practices across jurisdictions. You will partner with HR, Legal, Finance, and external providers to shape policies and manage cross-border assignments. You will oversee visa tracking, relocation support, and stakeholder communication to enable smooth global talent movement. This position offers a chance to influence policy, improve processes, and support relocating employees through complex regulatory landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Draft and refine global mobility policy
- Collaborate with HR to understand mobility and talent needs
- Ensure compliance with immigration, tax, and employment regulations across jurisdictions
- Research, propose, and plan for new entity creations with stakeholders
- Coordinate with external partners (counsel, relocation providers)
- Maintain accurate mobility records (assignments, permits, visa expirations)
- Stay updated on immigration trends and regulations
- Create internal controls for contingent workers
- Draft proposals for global transfer requests
- Create guides and checklists for global transfers
- Track visas and manage visa preparations with counsel
- Manage new work visas in global locations with relocating employees
- Support relocation matters: payroll, benefits, immigration, expenses, housing, schooling, etc.
- Draft invitation letters for travel visas
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed
Key requirements
- 5+ years in global mobility, immigration, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of international immigration laws, tax regulations, and employment policies
- Understanding of work permits, visas, and relocation processes
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
