Overview
In this role you will support multiple Federation services to ensure smooth operation and delivery. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, governance, data collection, and communications. You’ll work closely with practices, PCNs, and patients to meet service needs and uphold quality and safety. This is a hands-on administrator position that helps shape effective clinical services and patient care in the community. You’ll engage across teams to enable reliable, compliant operations and frontline service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Support staffing rotas across services
- Administer recruitment and onboarding of casual staff
- Induct and train service staff
- Maintain Luna workforce platform and staff documentation
- Arrange access to clinical systems
- Support day-to-day service operations
- Monitor emails and website contacts; follow up issues
- Engage with patients and stakeholders
- Support policy development and governance
- Assist with changes and new processes
- Deliver administrative support to Lung Cancer Screening programme
- Record data from Lung Cancer Screening systems to primary care systems
- Draft/disseminate newsletters
- Coordinate internal/external meetings; agendas, minutes, actions
- Provide phone cover for PLT or trainings
- Other project support as required by leadership
- Follow SOPs and organisational policies
- Undertake other duties as appropriate
Key requirements
- GCSE in English and Maths
- Business administration experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Email
- Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- Effective time management and planning
- Capability to network and build relationships
- Independence and teamwork experience
- Experience of NHS/primary care settings (desirable)
- Experience using Clinical Systems (SystmOne or EMIS) (desirable)
- Confidentiality and information governance awareness (implied)
- Discretion and ability to handle sensitive data (implied)
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Polite and confident
- Flexible and cooperative
- Proven IT skills (Microsoft Office/Email)
