Business Analyst with Finance Systems – Milton Keynes

Overview

In this role you support the delivery of Finance Systems projects in Milton Keynes, aligning technology with business goals. You’ll work with stakeholders across Marketing, Finance and Education to map processes, model data, and identify improvements. You will run workshops, drive change, and ensure clear documentation and training so teams adopt new systems. This position suits an experienced BA who can navigate a full project lifecycle and influence senior stakeholders. You’ll contribute to education-sector finance technology initiatives and may travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the business structure and system integrations across Marketing, Finance and Education
• Conduct As-Is and To-Be process mapping
• Identify problems via data modelling and process flows
• Streamline and optimise business processes
• Lead workshops and training sessions for stakeholder alignment
• Maintain strong documentation management practices
• Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate benefits of new technology
• Align internal and external stakeholders to project goals and outcomes

Key requirements

• 5–8 years of proven BA experience on full project lifecycles
• Oracle Financial systems experience (at least 5 years)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with senior leadership
• Experience in process mapping, data modelling, and requirements gathering
• Ability to run workshops and train users
• Knowledge of finance systems and education sector context
• Ability to travel occasionally
