Research Services Manager – Operations, AI Platforms

Overview

In this role you lead the evaluation, testing, and deployment of AI-powered research tools to support the Research Services function in London. You will coordinate pilots, gather feedback, and make recommendations to drive adoption while aligning with security and business needs. You’ll partner with cross‑functional teams across Innovation & AI, IT, and Research Services to shape platform selection and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Assess new functionality and enhancements to AI research platforms and decide activation based on business and security needs
• Collaborate with Research Services leadership and stakeholders to evaluate emerging AI technologies and support platform selection and improvement
• Coordinate vendor due diligence and security reviews with Global Security & Risk Management
• Serve as the operational liaison with Innovation & AI, Litigation Services, AI Services, and Technology & Information Services to manage AI platforms
• Promote effective work practices and act as a proactive team member with colleagues

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Master’s degree or JD preferred
• Relevant professional and cumulative experience
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with AI platforms and research resources
• Knowledge of legal and non-legal electronic and print resources
