In this role you will handle contentious matters in agricultural and rural property amid a specialist disputes team. You’ll work with high-profile landowners and cross‑functional colleagues to deliver high-quality dispute resolution service. The role supports growing the Estates and Land practice, offering early responsibility in a collaborative, flexible culture. You will shape solutions for tenancy, land interest and related probate issues while developing rural expertise.

Responsibilities
- Advise on contentious agricultural tenancy, rural property, and landed estates matters
- Manage a varied, complex workload with efficiency
- Deliver high-quality contentious and related non-contentious advice within a multidisciplinary team
- Build and maintain client relationships with rural landowners, charities and institutions
- Collaborate with private client, real estate, planning, environment and energy teams
- Take on early responsibility and contribute to case strategy and outcomes
Key requirements
- Relevant experience in contentious legal services, preferably agricultural/rural property or landed estates, or property litigation with interest in rural expertise
- Strong interest in the rural sector
- Ability to manage a varied and complex workload effectively
- SRA-registered lawyer status
- Demonstrated client relationship skills and professional judgment
