Associate Reporter

Overview

In this entry-level role you will cover European refined products markets by producing daily price assessments, real-time news and analytical content. You will develop industry sources, contribute to webinars and podcasts, and help promote OPIS price benchmarks across the marketplace. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and may travel to industry events. This is a chance to shape market coverage and build expertise in energy commodities.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily price assessments by collecting and validating spot market transactions
• Develop content and news for real-time service and analytical features
• Create industry-focused stories and contribute to webinars and podcasts
• Support promotion of OPIS price assessments as benchmarks, including travel to events

Key requirements

• 0-2 years of experience
• Demonstrated interest in commodity markets with ability to analyze data, market drivers, and regulatory issues
• Proficiency in Excel
• Power BI or Python experience is a nice-to-have
• Fluency in additional languages
