Overview

In this Senior Sales Executive role, you will drive high-value, complex sales opportunities within a leading commercial interiors company. You will shape opportunities from early engagement to appointment, while collaborating across projects, operations and finance to ensure commercially sound outcomes. You will lead RFPs and quotations, build robust stakeholder relationships, and promote sustainable, circular solutions. This position offers a chance to influence sales leadership and cultivate a positive, safety-conscious culture that delivers deliverable, margin-conscious projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-quality sales opportunities using a collaborative, team-first approach
  • Drive complex, high-value opportunities from initial engagement to appointment
  • Shape opportunities with insight, preparation and clear positioning
  • Act as a senior reference within the sales team and support collaborative working
  • Demonstrate best practices in sales preparation, briefing and internal alignment
  • Collaborate with other sales team members on shared opportunities
  • Foster a team-first approach to winning work over individual ownership
  • Maintain and update the shared leads list and opportunity status
  • Build and maintain relationships with Architects & Designers, Project Managers & Consultants, End clients and developers
  • Attend client meetings, presentations and site walkthroughs; represent the company at industry events
  • Lead the sales approach during quotation and RFP stages; brief Project Leads and Bid Coordinators
  • Participate in kickoff meetings and bid reviews as required
  • Ensure opportunities are well understood before resource commitment
  • Maintain awareness of margin, cashflow and commercial risk; coordinate with Finance and Directors
  • Escalate risks early; follow sales, bid and approval processes
  • Maintain knowledge of products, manufacturers and specifications; engage with suppliers on pricing and sustainability
  • Promote Day2 Renew and circular solutions where appropriate
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors and client drivers
  • Support a positive, accountable and collaborative sales culture; uphold company values and safety/quality/environment procedures
  • Ensure sales records are accurate, complete and protected; comply with HSEQ requirements
