Overview

In this role you will drive EPMS design and coordination across AWS data centers, shaping global BMS/EPMS standards and ensuring safe, cost-efficient operation. You will partner with cross-functional teams to review designs, manage scopes, and validate equipment in high-security environments, contributing to scalable, reliable infrastructure. You’ll work on new builds, legacy enhancements, and facility support while advancing standardized documentation and data-driven insights. Responsibilities

  • Design and coordinate EPMS scope, diagrams, and specifications across global data centers
  • Review MEP drawings and electrical content for EPMS alignment
  • Create SOWs, support RFIs, and evaluate vendor proposals during bid reviews
  • Coordinate with regional project managers to finalize project scopes and submittals
  • Attend Factory Witness Tests (FWTs) and Equipment Qualification Tests (EQTs) to validate EPMS devices
  • Develop and maintain controls points lists, EPMS templates, Basis of Design (BOD), and project SOWs
  • Lead collaboration across construction, programmers, MEP/ACS engineers, and managers to meet initiative goals
  • Manage RFQ/Requests for information for new builds and site enhancements
  • Serve as central point of contact for EPMS design standards with internal and external groups
  • Identify risks and escalate blockers to keep projects on track
  • Interact with AWS cloud services to analyze and present accumulated data
  • Travel globally to support project initiatives

Key requirements

  • Experience with fast-track project design/build or significant upgrades
  • Experience in data centers or other critical environments
  • Experience with electrical diagrams, single-line diagrams, and electrical distribution systems
  • Experience with industrial controls systems
  • Experience with power monitoring and SCADA systems
  • Experience with Modbus or other industrial communication protocols
