Overview
In this leadership-track role, you join North Gate’s forensic services team to lead architectural dispute resolution and expert witness consultancy in façade engineering. You will work on high-profile construction disputes shaping outcomes in court and arbitration, with mentoring and personal career development. The position sits in a growing, respected firm, offering a path to develop the technical expert offering. You apply deep facade design expertise and litigation insight to support solicitors and construction stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- lead architectural dispute resolution, claims analysis, and expert witness consultancy
- work on complex, high-profile construction disputes with impact in court/arbitration

Key requirements
- Senior level Facades engineer with dispute resolution experience
- experience as named Expert Witness or working toward this
- 15+ years post-qualification experience as a Lead Façade Engineer
- Chartered engineer with possible additional qualifications
- experience in forensic investigation
- proficiency in facade design, production information and specifications
- experience with NEC, JCT, FIDIC contracts
- on-site design management and value engineering experience
- strong written and verbal English
