Senior Payments Product Specialist

Overview

In this permanent London-based role, you will help shape connectivity, settlement operations and scheme strategy for a growing fintech payments team. You will collaborate with scheme operators, banking partners and senior leadership to drive payments infrastructure and migration initiatives. You’ll tackle regulatory engagement and ensure compliant, scalable payments solutions across UK and European schemes. This is a hands-on opportunity to impact product development and payment settlement in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

Key requirements

• 8+ years across UK and European payment schemes (Faster Payments, CHAPS, SEPA, BACS, SWIFT)
• deep knowledge of ISO 20022, MT/MX messaging, CBPR+ and payments migration programmes
• experience with direct scheme participation and scheme compliance
• track record delivering payments infrastructure and settlement initiatives
• strong stakeholder management with scheme operators, banking partners and leadership
• experience in fintech, payments, banking infrastructure or acquiring
