Supply Chain Manager

Overview

In this senior role, you will own the end-to-end supply chain within a growing manufacturing business, shaping strategy and operational delivery. You’ll connect Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, Operations and external suppliers to keep the organisation agile and competitive. You’ll lead the development of a forward-looking supply chain strategy, drive S&OP and inventory optimisation, and guide a dedicated team. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the business and a chance to shape long-term direction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the end-to-end supply chain strategy in line with commercial goals
• Strengthen supplier relationships and negotiate robust SLAs
• Lead demand forecasting, inventory optimisation and S&OP process
• Improve systems, processes and KPIs across the chain
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability of supply
• Mentor, develop and grow the supply chain team
• Collaborate with global suppliers and internal departments to resolve challenges
• Oversee inventory across multiple warehouses and third-party manufacturing
• Ensure import/export compliance and efficient logistics
• Track, analyse and report on KPI performance across the function

Key requirements

• Proven senior level experience in supply chain leadership
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organisational abilities
• Excellent communication and ability to influence at all levels
• Experience managing multi-site inventory, supplier relationships and S&OP
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems and import/export regulations
• Strategic mindset with hands-on operational approach
• Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience is advantageous
• Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations or related discipline
