Overview
As Project Architect you will lead high-spec residential and mixed-use schemes from concept through construction within a collaborative, award-winning practice in Waterloo London. You will shape design across RIBA stages, mentor junior team members, and engage confidently with clients and contractors. The role offers hybrid working, strong CPD support, and a people-first culture focused on sustainability and contemporary design. You will work on bespoke projects ranging from luxury apartments to heritage-led schemes, contributing to the studio’s design-led ethos and growth.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-spec residential and mixed-use schemes from concept to construction
- Lead detailing and technical design development for bespoke architecture projects
- Contribute creatively through drawings, models, and visuals across all RIBA stages
- Work within a small, supportive team with autonomy over workload
- Communicate confidently with clients and contractors
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate across departments
- Use AutoCAD and Revit on projects
Key requirements
- ARB registered with 2+ years’ post-Part 3 UK practice experience
- Confident leading projects throughout all stages, especially at RIBA Stages 2–4
- Experience in high-quality residential, hotel, or heritage-led projects
- Strong design ability including detail/technical design and delivery
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp (or similar); Revit desirable
- Experience in small to medium-sized design-led practices preferred
- Comfortable working directly with clients and contractors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK and fluent in written/spoken English
