Overview

As Senior Product Manager at Wire, you own the why and the what for a product scope, shaping its vision, strategy and outcomes. You set priorities and ensure alignment with Wire’s overall product strategy, translating market and compliance needs into product decisions. You collaborate with a Product Owner to balance strategy with delivery while representing the scope to leadership, customers and partners. You work across markets and distributed teams to drive impact in a privacy- and security‑focused organization. This is a chance to help Wire scale secure communications for diverse sectors.

Responsibilities

• Define scope vision, strategy and roadmap priorities and order by value
• Frame problems and timelines in Product Requirement Documents and keep roadmap aligned with company strategy
• Present priorities and trade-offs at the product board and translate decisions back to the scope
• Maintain awareness of client pipeline and partnerships to reflect in priorities
• Act as voice of the product with commercial teams, customers, partners and regulators
• Partner with Product Owner on strategy-delivery boundary decisions (e.g., bug fixes vs. releases)
• Collaborate across teams to ensure delivery outcomes meet defined problems and objectives

Key requirements

• Significant senior-level product management experience with end-to-end ownership
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking; ability to prioritise and manage trade-offs
• Excellent stakeholder management and commercial acumen
• Clear, credible ability to write and present Product Requirement Documents
• Experience partnering with a Product Owner or delivery role and understanding strategy versus delivery
• Familiarity with Jira Product Discovery or equivalent roadmapping tool
