Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property matters
- Sales and purchases of farmland and rural estates
- Agricultural tenancies and licences
- Easements, rights of way, and boundary issues
- Advising farmers, landowners, and rural businesses
- Liaising with clients, agents, and other professionals
- Support a collaborative and ambitious team culture
- Maintain high professional standards and compliance
Key requirements
- 2-5 years PQE in agricultural or rural property law (or strong interest in developing expertise)
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in managing matters independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
