Project Manager // Insurance Due Diligence

Overview

In this role you lead insurance due diligence for live private equity transactions, acting as a trusted adviser to deal teams. You evaluate target insurance programs, identify gaps and risk exposures, and translate complex technical findings into practical guidance for buyers and investors. You will coordinate with insurers and market partners, manage multiple deals, and deliver clear due diligence reports to clients and internal stakeholders. This position provides exposure to high-profile transactions across industries and a strong platform to deepen P&C insurance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance due diligence on live transactions and assess target insurance profiles
• Advise deal teams on insurance structure, cost, and risk implications for acquisitions, disposals and refinancing
• Review historical claims experience and identify coverage gaps or risk exposures affecting valuation or deal terms
• Prepare concise due diligence reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders
• Engage with insurers and market partners to obtain terms and support negotiations
• Manage multiple concurrent transactions, maintain records, and meet deadlines/service standards

Key requirements

• Experience in insurance broking, underwriting, claims or insurance advisory
• Exposure to private equity transactions or complex commercial clients (preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge of property & casualty insurance
