Overview

As Divisional Sales Director, you lead a team of Mortgage and Protection Advisers to drive revenue and protection sales within the Essex division. You partner with a senior Managing Director to monitor targets, implement strategy, and ensure high-quality customer service. You will recruit, develop, and retain advisers, optimise lead sources and cross-sell opportunities, and champion the fully protected mortgage concept. This role offers a career-focused leadership path in a top mortgage brokerage with strong incentives and growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop and retain up to 20 Mortgage and Protection Advisers and help them achieve Business Plans
  • Monitor, implement and evaluate sales targets to grow revenue and protection sales
  • Fulfil Supervisor role per Openwork Performance Management Scheme and ensure robust processes
  • Cultivate excellent stakeholder relationships with Estate Agency and New Homes Introducers
  • Champion the fully protected mortgage (FPM) concept and ensure sales process adherence
  • Collaborate with Training and Compliance to develop advisers’ training needs
  • Provide a challenging, rewarding environment with strong leadership to drive professional growth
  • Promote consistent, high-quality customer service across the division

Key requirements

  • CeMap or similar professional qualification
  • minimum 2 years in a Sales Management role, preferably with Mortgage and Protection Advisers
  • excellent technical and e-commerce knowledge relevant to housing and mortgage market
  • experience leading, motivating and influencing sales teams in a customer-facing environment
