Senior Growth Manager (Contract)

Overview

In this role you will lead growth initiatives to expand Reddit’s user base and strengthen communities across the US and international markets. You will work with Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Community teams to identify high-impact opportunities and turn experiments into scalable programs. You’ll balance global strategy with local adaptation and build repeatable playbooks. You will measure and optimize key metrics like DAU, engagement, and retention, shaping the platform experience for communities worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute user & community growth strategies across markets
• Design and run growth experiments addressing gaps in content supply, density, contributions, discovery, engagement, and user growth
• Translate successful experiments into repeatable playbooks and scalable processes
• Monitor growth and ecosystem metrics (DAU, contribution, content supply, community health, retention) and establish measurement frameworks for experiments
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Community teams to influence investment and product development

Key requirements

• 7+ years in user growth, product operations, or market expansion with a track record of scalable growth initiatives
• Strong entrepreneurial instincts and hands-on execution in ambiguous environments
• Data-driven with proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of SQL
• Ability to build scalable processes and automations
• Strong systems thinking to distinguish market-specific problems from repeatable opportunities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across global teams
• Results-oriented with attention to detail and execution bias
