Aladdin Services Analyst – Vice President

Overview

As an Aladdin Services Analyst – Vice President, you will oversee the implementation, optimization, and ongoing servicing of BlackRock Aladdin for clients and internal partners. You will bridge business analysis, client support, and tech coordination to optimize front-, middle-, and back-office workflows. You’ll collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, risk and operations teams, and tech partners to gather requirements, resolve issues, and enhance platform usage and reporting. Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day client servicing and operational activities related to the Aladdin platform
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Assist with Aladdin implementation, onboarding, configuration, and testing activities
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with internal and external teams
• Monitor workflows, data quality, reconciliations, and exception management across investment operations processes
• Partner with stakeholders to improve platform usage, operational efficiency, and reporting capabilities
• Support process mapping, documentation, and creation of standard operating procedures
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, upgrades, and change requests
• Provide training and guidance to users on Aladdin workflows, tools, and best practices
• Prepare management reports, service updates, KPI tracking, and client-facing materials where needed
• Liaise with technology, data, and vendor teams to support interfaces, feeds, and system integrations
• Ensure activities are completed in line with risk, control, compliance, and governance requirements

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in asset management, investment operations, financial technology, or platform support
• Working knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin or similar investment management platforms
• Understanding of front-to-back investment lifecycle processes (trade capture, order management, portfolio compliance, settlements, reconciliations, performance and risk reporting, risk analytics)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience gathering business requirements and supporting system/process change
• Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SQL, Python, or data analysis tools beneficial
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
