TikTok Shop – Business Development Manager – Home & Living, UK

Overview

In this role you will identify, onboard and incubate key Home & Living brands on TikTok Shop. You will manage the lead-to-onboard-to-established cycle, negotiating and closing agreements while educating sellers to launch and grow successfully. Based in London, you will work autonomously to hit business OKRs and contribute to merchant growth and customer experience. You’ll operate in a fast-moving environment, develop original approaches, and influence cross-functional teams to scale the Home & Living category on TikTok Shop. This is an opportunity to shape growth for merchants at a high-growth platform.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close agreements with sellers for TikTok Shop Home & Living.
• Onboard new merchants and incubate their growth with development strategies and resources.
• Educate merchants on launching and growing on TikTok Shop and provide ongoing support.
• Manage the end-to-end lead-to-onboard-to-established process and track progress against OKRs.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to enable merchant success and revenue growth.
• Build trusted relationships with brand partners and monitor performance analytics.

Key requirements

• 2+ years of business development and account management in online marketplaces, e-commerce, or agency.
• Practical experience with social commerce, content marketing and influencers.
• Strong relationship-building skills with brand partners.
• Fast learner with good judgment and original thinking.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to change.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
