Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives within the team and wider business
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and performance to drive profitability
• Build and maintain client relationships across UK and EMEA
• Oversee project delivery, timelines, and quality for electrical projects
• Position WSP as the engineer of choice through client care and collaboration
• Share knowledge across the global WSP network to elevate technical capabilities
• Drive work-winning efforts and maintain a robust project pipeline

Key requirements

• Chartership through CIBSE/IET Engineering Council (or willingness to pursue)
• Electrical design engineering expertise across power distribution, generation, and critical backup systems
• Strong understanding of power and energy management in data centre infrastructure
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strategic vision with ability to align engineering initiatives with business goals
• Project management proficiency with budgeting and scheduling skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
