Overview

In this role you drive large, complex implementations of the Charles River IMS for institutional clients, balancing client needs with delivery. You act as a product expert, coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating project status, upgrades, and milestones. You work closely with clients and internal experts to ensure best-practice configuration and successful adoption of CRD software. This position offers frontline exposure to cutting-edge infrastructure and financial tech within a global services team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of CRD implementation projects
  • Translate workflow analyses into CR IMS configuration specifications
  • Maintain ongoing client communication and project status updates
  • Serve as single point of contact for the client during implementation
  • Execute project plan steps and ensure client needs are documented
  • Provide leadership in client utilization of CRD products and services
  • Facilitate calls/meetings with consultants and product experts
  • Inform clients about upgrades and major releases
  • Manage training and consulting resource requests
  • Monitor issue escalation and respond to product requests
  • Coordinate CRD representatives across locations for implementation
  • Maintain awareness of industry changes/trends
  • Travel up to 5 days per week within EMEA

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in a similar role implementing financial systems
  • Strong Front Office experience (order management, Fund Managers/Traders)
  • Experience with Charles River IMS or similar systems
  • Solid knowledge of Investment Management workflows and instruments (FI/derivatives/equities, compliance, risk, scenario analysis)
  • Desirable focus in risk systems, IBOR, or scenario analysis
  • Fluency in a second European language is highly desirable
  • University degree in Finance or Technology (or equivalent)
  • Superior client-facing skills
  • Some technical knowledge, ideally SQL
  • Experience presenting to both business and technical audiences
