Overview
In this Lending Product Owner role, you will drive end-to-end product life cycles for innovative lending solutions within Wealth Management. You’ll act as the voice of the customer, shaping strategy, backlog, and roadmaps to deliver value and profitability. You collaborate with cross‑functional teams to launch scalable, resilient products and continuously improve client experiences using data-driven insights. Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product strategy and vision that delivers customer value
- Lead discovery and research to uncover solutions and integrate them into the roadmap
- Own and refine product backlog aligned to strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Run agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives)
- Lead product testing and release management strategy
- Mentor and support a team of product analysts/associates
- Foster collaboration within scrum teams and with other departments
- Serve as primary point of contact for product-related queries and updates
- Improve processes to boost productivity and product quality
- Apply design thinking to de-risk investments through early validation and iteration
Key requirements
- Graduate / Post-Graduate with 5–10 years in Banking/Financial Services, at least 3 in a similar role
- Expertise in defining and building product strategy and roadmaps; strong prioritization skills
- Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle
- Data and tech literacy with ability to derive insights and support business transformation
- Market and product knowledge across products, systems, and end-to-end processes; awareness of market trends
- Continuous improvement mindset; ability to apply innovation and design thinking to improve efficiency, scale, and resilience
- Influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders
- Team player who proactively shares knowledge
- Collaborative and cross-functional communication
