Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transport planning projects from inception to completion
• Conduct complex transport assessments, modelling, and feasibility studies
• Develop and deliver transport strategies, policy advice, and reports for clients
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and local authorities
• Keep up-to-date with transport planning best practices, regulations, and innovations

Key requirements

• Around 10 years of experience in transport planning with a strong project portfolio
• Expertise in transport modelling, traffic assessments, and strategic transport planning
• Excellent knowledge of UK transport policy, planning guidance, and sustainability considerations
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Chartered status (CIHT or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
