Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Lead Analyst – C13 – BELFAST

Overview

In this role, you help strengthen risk-management quality through monitoring and testing of controls and processes. You will design and execute monitoring tools and assess control design and operational effectiveness. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to Citi policies and regulatory standards and support the continuous improvement of control effectiveness. This position offers exposure to risk governance and collaboration with senior management to drive compliant, reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess activities and processes for conformance to policies, standards and procedures
• Conduct routine testing of internal activities to verify quality and identify risks or non-compliance
• Review stakeholder feedback and respond to quality assurance issues promptly
• Develop and execute Monitoring and Testing for controls, including control design assessment and tools
• Support reporting on quality outcomes and control effectiveness to management and stakeholders
• Keep up-to-date with QA testing tools and strategies
• Participate in reviews and challenge processes for effective control design and management
• Assist in CMDA meetings and draft procedures
• Identify monitoring breaks and propose enhancements
• Escalate and report control issues transparently and support risk-based decision making

Key requirements

• Experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in financial services
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls
• Strong knowledge in development and execution of controls
• Experience implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes
• Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and Citi policies
• Strong analytical and communication skills for senior management
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
