Overview
In this permanent, office-based role you will deliver high-quality client service by processing and authorising account transactions, including complex requests, within service levels and applicable authority limits. You will work closely with clients and internal teams, supported by training to grow your skill set. You’ll contribute to service improvements and stay current on processes, products, and regulation. Responsibilities
- Process and authorise a range of account transactions within service levels and approved authority
- Manage client expectations and resolve queries via phone, email or letter
- Handle non-standard or complex transactions, including manual processing
- Support service and process improvement initiatives and projects
- Assist management where appropriate
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes, products and relevant regulation
- Achieve agreed performance levels
- Develop and follow a personal development plan and engage in self-development
Key requirements
- Prior client or account handling experience
- Prior experience in the financial services industry
- Team player mindset
- Keen eye for detail and comfort with data
- Good keyboard skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong organisation and time management abilities
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Strong communication and mathematical reasoning skills (5 GCSEs or equivalent)
